STANDARD DATA DICTIONARY #52.75 -- IV MEDICATION ORDERS DC'D FILE 3/24/25 PAGE 1 STORED IN ^PS(52.75, *** NO DATA STORED YET *** SITE: WWW.BMIRWIN.COM UCI: VISTA,VISTA (VERSION 5.0) DATA NAME GLOBAL DATA ELEMENT TITLE LOCATION TYPE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This file stores copies of information from IV orders that have either been discontinued or edited within the CPRS package. The records in this file are considered temporary and can be deleted through the following option: Non-Verified/Pending Orders [PSJU VBW]. These records are only intended to help identify discontinued IV orders for a particular ward or a ward group. The records act as alerts for pharmacists so they can pull IVs that are discontinued and prevent them from being sent to the patient ward and potentially be given in error. It also allows the pharmacist to perform a drug-drug interaction check, since recently discontinued medications can still cause a drug interaction. Taking action on these records does not impact the actual orders.
