Procedure Clusters associated with Diagnostic Related Groups (DRG). Clusters or Groups of Procedures that in combination affect
the DRG calculations.

All the Procedures in a cluster must be associated with a patient record for the cluster to be applied to the DRG calculation of
that record. The set of Procedures in a cluster act as a single Procedure when determining if a Code Set is satisfied.

HELP-PROMPT: Enter a code that will uniquely identify this Procedure Cluster, 3 to 30 characters.
DESCRIPTION: The Cluster ID is an assigned number that provides a unique identifier for the grouping of
                                procedures.

HELP-PROMPT: Enter the type or level of care of the Procedure Cluster.
DESCRIPTION: The MDC classification of a Procedure, either Operating Room or Non-Operating Room. All Procedures
are identified as either Operating Room or Non-Operating Room procedures.

In this case the cluster acts as a single Procedure, given that all the cluster procedures are
                                assigned to the record.

              LAST EDITED: MAR 08, 2019
HELP-PROMPT: Enter the '2' for 'One of With' if this cluster was defined by CMS as 'one of/with one of' lists.
DESCRIPTION: Cluster Type identifies the original structure of the cluster. The standard type is a simple list
of procedures included in the cluster. The Type identified as 'ONE OF WITH' were originally
structured as two list, the first was 'One of' the second list was 'with'. These were expanded
from two lists to the standard structure with a cluster for each combined list.

83.61,10 ATTRIBUTES 10;0 DATE Multiple #83.6101

DESCRIPTION: The attributes are various characteristics of the Procedure Cluster, specific to the DRG
assignment. There can be only one record of attributes active for a date range. Each version that
modifies any of the attributes will have a separate date based record.

HELP-PROMPT: Enter the first date the set of attributes is effective.
DESCRIPTION: The first date this set of attributes is active for the Cluster. There should be only one set of
attributes active at a time. If any attribute changes then a new record with a new effective
                                  date should be added.

HELP-PROMPT: Enter the type or level of care of the Cluster.
DESCRIPTION: The MDC classification of the Cluster, either Operating Room or Non-Operating Room. The cluster
acts as a single Procedure, given that all the cluster procedures are assigned to the record.

An active Cluster Procedure Type attribute overrides the attributes of the individual procedures
assigned to the Cluster. If a cluster attribute is Operating Room then OR is applied to the DRG
calculation even if all the procedures assigned to the cluster are Non-Operating Room.
