DESCRIPTION | This option will identify any patients that are considered to be test patients by DSS standards or that have a last name that starts with ZZ. For DSS purposes, test patients are identified as those having an SSN with 3 leading zeroes, 2 middle zeroes, consecutive numbers 1 to 9, repeating numbers in all 9 digits (all ones, all twos, etc.) or having 3 leading sixes. In the past, test patients were identified by putting ZZ in front of their last name. This report will include all patients whose last name starts with ZZ. These patients may, or may not be, test patients. The report includes the patient's Vista test patient status (five leading zeroes in the SSN) as well as the DSS test patient status to help you determine if the patient identified is a test patient. This report can be printed or exported, as needed. |
