| DESCRIPTION | This option provides Enter/Edit of Clinical Alerts multiple (#109) inPharmacy Patient file (#55). This option was developed for alerting pharmacy personnel of importantinformation (i.e., Drug to Drug interactions on research programs that thenormal software would not know about, etc.). This option is only assigned to Pharmacy Supervisors. The supervisorenters the clinical alert and then this information is displayed in theappropriate places. Someone filling an order (or RX) would view thisinformation beforehand and act accordingly. |
