DESCRIPTIONWARNING: Failure to run this task daily would create a patient safety issue! This option must be scheduled to run daily as it not only purges old alerts, but it is also responsible for forwarding unprocessed alerts tosurrogates, service chiefs and backup reviewers. When scheduling, the TASK PARAMETERS field is used to set the number ofretention days. The system will default to a value of 14 if this is not set. Failure to set this field could result in alerts as recent as 15 daysold being purged from all users.
