| DESCRIPTION | This option is used to identify any errors associated with an applicationpackage which is in either alpha or beta test. The identified errors arecombined in a mail message which includes the type of error, the routineinvolved, the date (usually the previous day), and the option which wasbeing used at the time of the error, and the number of times the error waslogged. The volume and uci are included so that stations with error logsbeing maintained on different cpus can run the task on each differentsystem. This option was designed to be tasked. It does not require adevice and generates a mail message to the developing ISC. An alpha orbeta package is indicated by the presence of the package (and itsnamespaces in the Alpha/Beta Package multiple of the Kernel Site Parameterfile. The option should usually be scheduled to run after midnight, andscheduled for re-queuing at a daily interval. |
