| DESCRIPTION | This option will allow lookups on the local DRUG file (#50) using NDCs from DSS Pharmacy Feeder Keys that have been rejected becausethe first five characters are zeros in a 17 character Feeder Key.(Ex. "00000051079014120") This would occur when a pharmacy item has not been matched to thethe National Drug File (NDF). To use this option, enter the NDC (last twelve characters) from a rejectedfeeder key. The NDC can be either 12 digits or the letters "LCL" followed by 9 digits. This will display the following information from the local DRUG file (#50): LOCAL GENERIC NAME, DISPENSE UNIT, and PRICE PER DISPENSEUNIT. |
