| DESCRIPTION | You may use this option to accession any patient specimen for anytest/procedure ordered. However, you are limited to ordering onlyone test per specimen. Use this option to accession a large number of identical specimens with the same test ordered. Once you enter thesite/specimen and test name, you will not be asked for that informationagain. It is automatically assigned to each patient until you exit the option. The date and time are assumed to be NOW. It is a very quick, simple and efficient method for accessioning specimens into the laboratory. |
