NAMEHL AUTOSTART LINK MANAGER
DESCRIPTIONThis option is invoked through TaskMan's Special Queuing feature. WhenTaskMan starts through the normal startup and not through the Restartoption, this task will start as a persistent task checking the HL7 messagequeues for message(s) to be delivered via non-persistent LLPs. Theprimary job of the Link Manager is to insure that an LLP is available whenmessages in the Message Queue are ready to be delivered. If there are noexisting LLPs available, the Link Manager will task off a LinkSub-manager which in turn will become an LLP to deliver message(s) for aspecific message queue requiring a non-persistent connection. In order to set up this option to startup when the system/TaskMan starts,please find the following HL7 options to create an entryin the OPTION SCHEDULING file: STEP 1: Taskman Management ... STEP 2: Schedule/Unschedule Options STEP 3 (Create the following entry): Select OPTION to schedule or reschedule: HL AUTOSTART LINK MANAGER Are you adding 'HL AUTOSTART LINK MANAGER' as a new OPTION SCHEDULING (the 12TH)?
